Oh, hey! I’m Ashton.

Hi, I’m a photographer with nearly a decade of experience, and I absolutely love working with kids and women in every season of motherhood. Though I don’t have kids of my own, I’m often told I have a special knack for connecting with children and an incredible amount of patience. It’s one of the biggest compliments I get from clients, and it’s something I’m really proud of.

I believe in a laid-back approach, especially when it comes to toddlers and babies. I let them take the lead and see where the session goes from there, whether we’re shooting at your home or in the mountains. I’m ready to chase the littles and have fun along the way!

A few fun facts about me:

• Originally from Virginia, I’ve spent the last 12 years in Alaska and am now making the exciting move to Denver, Colorado!
• I’ve been self-employed for over 10 years and wouldn’t have it any other way.
• I’m a huge animal lover—my tiny farm in Alaska had everything from pigs and goats to bees (though no cows or horses!).
• I never planned on having kids, but I’ve always loved connecting with them. I started working with children at 18 as a daycare teacher for the Air Force and later became a lead teacher for 1-year-olds. I’m grateful to still be able to work with kids today.
• I’m neurodivergent (AuDHD), which helps me connect with children in a unique way. If you have a neurodivergent little one, I understand and create a safe space where they can feel comfortable to be themselves. No need to stress about extra time or breaks—I've got it covered!
